Wedding Photography at The Nottingham Conference Centre
The Nottingham Conference Centre, (part of the Nottingham Trent University City Centre Campus) is a unique wedding venue that has been lovingly restored to its former glory, and a photographer‘s dream venue in terms of light and available locations for your group and informal shots.
Marrying the old with the new, you can enjoy your wedding day in either the contemporary surroundings of Newton or the Victorian splendour of Arkwright.
The Centre can host events from intimate celebrations to large weddings for up to 250 guests, and are licensed to perform civil ceremonies and partnerships.
The Old Chemistry Theatre






With its Victorian architecture and ornate roof structure, the Old Chemistry Theatre is a great choice for civil ceremonies. This room has the grandeur and feel of a church or chapel wedding, and the bride can make a grand entrance via double-doors that open at the rear of the room.
The room is flooded with natural light, making it great for taking photographs and has direct access to the enclosed Benefactors’ Court, another choice location for your photographs.
















Benefactors’ Court


Within the enclosed courtyard of Arkwright building and adjacent to the Old Chemistry Theatre, is an additional area for your wedding. This is a flexible space suitable for photographs, your drinks reception, or even a BBQ.


The Main Entrance


The Main Entrance is where your guests will be greeted and provides some beautiful indoor locations for your photographs, especially if the weather is inclement.










The Old Library


With its stunning vaulted ceiling and natural light pouring in from every angle, the Old Library is a large and spacious room which can hold up to 150 guests for a traditional wedding breakfast and 200 guests for an evening reception.
