When Beth and Will showed me around Kelham House, the venue that they’d chosen for their summer wedding I was really excited about shooting their wedding photographs there.
Kelham house has been recently refurbished and interior is gorgeous (very light, modern and tasteful!) The marquee which was set up in the garden was decorated beautifully and the white interior created beautiful light for the photographs that Beth and Will wanted of their wedding speeches.
The grounds are great for outdoor shots and there is a little wooded area at the bottom of the garden which is perfect for stealing a quiet moment with the bride and groom to take a few portraits.
The terrace is a great place for guests to congregate and gave me a chance to take some documentary style photos of the children playing and the guests enjoying the sunshine.
I would highly recommend Kelham House as a wedding venue, and I found it to be perfectly suited to those who are looking for a relaxed, informal style of wedding, which I’m sure is reflected in the photographs.
